Grand Central Market
Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles dates back to 1917 and has since stood the test of time as one of LA’s most well-known historic landmarks.
The market has been in continuous operation for over 100 years, cycling through descending generations of Angelenos working as customers and food stall managers. From green grocers to fishmongers, Jewish delis, butchers, baked goods, flowers, coffee and cheese -- visitors can find anything they need here while supporting a longstanding local business establishment at Grand Central Market.
Today, guests can even encounter the additions of a trendy PB&J shop, PBJ.LA, the beloved donut shop, The Donut Man, and an outpost of LA-based brewery, Golden Road.
This market encompasses 30,000 square feet of food stalls and retail space. The interior and exterior sitting spaces provide a shared gathering place to meet friends, bring a date, or take the kids on a trip to DTLA.
Must-stop food stalls include Olio Wood Fired Pizzeria, which creates authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan style pizzas, and Knead & Co., which is known for its traditional, yet elevated mix of Italian-American dishes and freshly made pasta.
