This library is an essential modern community center, named in tribute to Anthony Quinn, an iconic East L.A. native and iconic actor.

Inside, Quinn’s memorabilia, such as old scripts, scrapbooks and personal papers, are preserved. On the outside, visitors can see the “ Tree of Knowledge” mural, a work by Mexican muralist Josefina Quezada depicting a woman reading to a group of children.

Walk about 2 minutes, 400 feet heading west on Union Station Walkway (take the pedestrian tunnel)


Turn left toward N Alameda St


Turn right onto N Alameda St


Arrive at the bus station, "Cesar E Chavez / Alameda"


Board bus 70 toward the El Monte Station for 20 minutes; 15 stops and disembark at the Cesar E Chavez / Hazard bus stop

Walk 2 minutes across the street toward the destination
