Heritage Barbecue serves small batches of hand-crafted central-Texas-style barbecue smoked meats prepared over a real wood fire.

There’s almost always a line out the door (so plan to get there early!) of hungry barbecue fans who agree that the food is always worth the wait.

The restaurant, which dates back nearly a decade, originated as a simple concept of brewery popups. It became so successful it gained a viral following, leading to a brick-and-mortar store in San Juan Capistrano in 2020.

This restaurant is proud to source only the highest quality meats from West Coast Prime, including Pachamama pork, Duroc pork ribs, Creekstone Farms brisket and more.

The menus are seasonal (and market-priced), rotating frequently, so there’s almost always something new and tasty to try.
