Women Who Shaped Los Angeles - A Walking Tour in Downtown LA
Take any Metrolink line (except the Inland Empire Orange County line) to Los Angeles Union Station on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10 a.m. for an immersive walking tour delving into women's history in Los Angeles.
For $15 ($10 for members of The Ebell of LA), this 1.2-mile mostly flat walk takes attendees on a journey with the women of the Ebell of Los Angeles, for a fascinating tour through history which will:
- Uncover the incredible lives of the women who shaped Los Angeles over the past century
- Dive into the tales of fearless pioneers who braved the frontier to bring civility to the Wild West
- Walk in the footsteps of LA’s first female police officers, lawyers, and even the city’s first female mayor
The tour begins at Union Station and treks through streets of historic nieghborhoods such as Old Chinatown, ending at the Plaza of Los Angeles across from LA Union Station.
