Kia Forum
Almost appearing like a replica of the Roman Coliseum, the Kia Forum, which first opened in 1967, is a beloved landmark in the Inglewood neighborhood in Los Angeles. The venue served as home to the Los Angeles Lakers and Kings but fell into disrepair when the teams moved to Crypto.com arena.
When Madison Square Garden purchased the building in 2012, the company’s owner launched an initiative to transform this relic into a modernized, high-end entertainment venue, updating its facilities into the twenty-first century while preserving its historic appearance.
In March 2020, Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer purchased The Forum from Madison Square Garden for $400 million, ushering the venue into a new era of entertainment. Today, this arena is still known to host well-known music performers across genres.
