The Hollywood Pantages Theatre
The Hollywood Pantages Theatre is an iconic performing arts venue perched in the heart of Los Angeles on Hollywood Boulevard, right down the block from Vine Street.
This venue dates back to 1930 -- and, throughout its history, has been a movie house, a theater stage and the site of many gala premieres. In fact, The Hollywood Pantages Theatre was the home of the Academy Awards Presentations for ten years. Legendary shows like "Disney’s The Lion King," "Mean Girls," "Hair" and more have made their mark in the live entertainment world while calling this stage their home.
Since its opening, the theater has undergone several touch-ups and renovations to upkeep its grandeur -- including repainting and lobby restorations -- but it still boasts its storied original 1930 design (and its feeling of Tinseltown magic!).
