0G3A1634

LOS ANGELES – Metrolink’s Holiday Express Train kicked off its four-weekend tour of Southern California today in Perris with hundreds of holiday revelers in attendance. The one-of-a-kind, interactive experience features festive decorations, carolers and recognizable holiday characters, in addition to stunning views of the region’s unique landscape.

Family-friendly activities, including performances from the Perris High School band, balloon twisters and crafting tables, greeted attendees at the Perris-South Station ahead of boarding. Passengers also contributed donated toys for the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s annual Spark of Love Toy Drive.

Six additional Holiday Express Trains will depart from Rancho Cucamonga, Simi Valley, Burbank and Laguna Niguel in the coming weeks. Holiday Express Trains are specially ticketed round-trip events. Tickets are $25 per person, and children 2-years-old and younger ride free provided they sit on a parent’s lap.
