Metrolink is your affordable and hassle-free link to exploring Southern California this summer. The $15 Summer Day Pass is available on weekdays on both the Metrolink Mobile App and ticket machines from Tuesday, May 28, through Friday, August 30.

With school out for the summer, Metrolink’s free Student Adventure Pass and $15 Summer Day Pass are the perfect combo to propel all your family’s summer outings.

  • Valid for unlimited travel on day of purchase (Monday through Friday) during promotion period.
  • Valid for travel system-wide on all seven lines.
  • One pass per customer. Pass is non-transferable.
  • Children who are 5 years old and younger always ride free with a fare paying adult regardless of the ticket type, and all students are eligible to ride free with their student ID using Metrolink’s Student Adventure Pass.
  • Available on the Metrolink Mobile App and at station ticket machines.
  • No advance purchase. Must be used on date of purchase.
  • Valid for hundreds of free transit transfers including to LA Metro buses, shuttles, rail and subway lines.
  • Earn 50 SoCal Explorer points when submitted for redemption.
  • Not valid on the following holiday Mondays: Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. Riders may purchase the $10 Holiday Pass available on those days.

The $15 Summer Day Pass is a special summertime promotion, offered Monday through Friday only. The pass is valid on the date of purchase for unlimited travel on Metrolink’s system, including Arrow trains.

The $15 Summer Day Pass is a great way to explore SoCal and try out new destinations throughout the summer months. Riders can purchase the pass on weekdays between Tuesday, May 28 and Friday, August 30, 2024, from any ticket machine or on the Metrolink mobile app.

The pass is not valid on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4, 2024. Riders may purchase the $10 Holiday Pass available on that day.

No, the $15 Summer Day Pass is its own ticket type. If you qualify for another discount and know the station pairs for your trip, your other discounted ticket may be less expensive than the $15 Summer Day Pass.

Children who are 5 years old and younger always ride free with a fare paying adult regardless of the ticket type. Also, with Metrolink’s Student Adventure Pass, all students ride free with their student ID. A valid Student Adventure Pass ticket is required and can be obtained at any Metrolink ticket machine or on the Metrolink mobile app. The Student Adventure Pass program is currently planned to run through June 30, 2024, and may be extended.
