For more than 60 years, Disneyland has been one of Southern California’s most beloved and magical destinations for entertainment, dining and shopping.

It is the only theme park designed and built to completion under the direct supervision of Walt Disney, and since its opening, this international attraction has continued to expand and renovate its multiple “lands” located within the park to keep attractions modern and exciting.

This theme park includes a collection of adventures, rides and shows symbolized by the Disney characters including the many Disney princesses and other animations brought to life. It's divided into nine subareas, or "lands," arranged around a central hub with a Walt statue holding hands with Mickey.

Main Street, U.S.A. is the first land guests will encounter upon entering, which connects the Disneyland entrance with the interior of the park. The other sectors of Disneyland include Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toontown, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Critter Country.

Each land features a variety of attractions from theatrical rides such as Indiana Jones Adventure and the Matterhorn to thrilling rides such as Hyperspace Mountain.

There are also a plethora of iconic food choices found within Disneyland, some of which have become well-known enough to inspire their own copycat recipes outside the park. Be sure to get a taste of the Dole Whip in Adventureland or “The Grey Stuff” at Red Rose Taverne, which is the Magic Kingdom’s Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant. Those with a sweet tooth must also indulge in the Magical Mickey Mouse-shaped Beignets in New Orleans Square, at the Mint Julep Bar.
