Orange Street Alley, sometimes referred to as “Umbrella Alley,” is a year-round attraction in the historic district of the Redlands between Orange Street and 5th Street.

Visitors can walk underneath more than 400 multicolored umbrellas dotted along the top of this narrow alleyway. The walk was designed for a leisurely stroll to bask in the mosaic created by this vibrant rainbow of sunshine-soaked hues.

The umbrellas are replaced yearly at the beginning of summer to keep them looking fresh and bright. This wall of color is surrounded on each side by murals painted by local artists, celebrating the nearby local businesses.
