The 10,000-square-foot Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum is free and open to the public, overseen by volunteers who are passionate about the world of skateboarding. It is said to be the world's first-ever museum dedicated to skateboarding.

The museum dates back to 1997 and highlights the talent of pro skateboarders, industry professionals and cultural icons who have made their mark over the years.

It also features one of the largest "Lookback Libraries" in existence, which gives visitors access to thousands of skateboarding magazines, books, videos and other media that visitors can use for research and education.

Those interested in learning to "shred" themselves and experience the thrill firsthand can dive into the sport at the on-site indoor skatepark and sign up for an in-house skateboarding lesson.
