Plaza Park in Old Towne Orange is a one-square-mile historic district that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's known as “The Antique Capital of California,” offering 40-plus antique shops such as the well-known Antique Station & Depot and the Chapman Antique Mall.

Check out the Watson Drugs and Soda Fountain which dates all the way back to 1899, when United States law prohibited the selling of soda water on Sunday.

As an alternative, local soda fountains began selling ice cream sodas — without the soda — which spurred the creation of the modern-day "ice cream sundae!" Nowadays, the diner also serves a wide selection of American comfort food set within a classic 50s diner-style atmosphere.

After dinner to indulge in a nightcap, head to The District Lounge which uses an old-fashioned jukebox and offers an outdoor patio hosting live music and entertainment.
