From L.A. Union Station to THE AIRPORT

L.A. Union Station

  1. Ride Metrolink train to L.A. Union Station.
  2. Walk through the tunnel following signs for Patsaouras Transit Plaza on Union Station East, and go up the escalator toward Bus Bay 1.
  3. Visit the FlyAway kiosk and present your valid Metrolink Monthly Pass and boarding pass to or from LAX for that day (electronic or print version accepted).
  4. Board the LAX FlyAway Bus. Buses depart every 30 minutes during peak hours. View schedule.
  5. Ride to LAX and exit at your terminal.

From THE Airport to L.A. Union Station

L.A. Union Station

  1. At your terminal, walk to the Lower/Arrivals Level and look for the blue FlyAway column.
  2. Board LAX FlyAway Bus toward L.A. Union Station (buses arrive every 30 minutes during peak hours)
  3. Exit at L.A. Union Station.
  4. Show the FlyAway® bus operator your valid Metrolink Monthly Pass and a boarding pass to or from LAX for that day (electronic or print version accepted).

WITHOUT A METROLINK MONTHLY PASS

FROM L.A. UNION STATION TO THE AIRPORT

L.A. Union Station

  1. Purchase your Metrolink ticket with "LAX FlyAway" as your destination using the Metrolink mobile app or a ticket machine. This will add $9.75 to the cost of your train ticket.
  2. Ride the train to L.A. Union Station.
  3. Walk through the tunnel following signs for Patsaouras Transit Plaza on Union Station East, and go up the escalator toward Bus Bay 1.
  4. Board the LAX FlyAway Bus. Buses depart every 30 minutes during peak hours. View schedule.
  5. Ride to the airport and exit at your terminal.

Please Note:

  • One-way service between Union Station and LAX costs $9.75.
  • Fare can be paid by credit card only at the kiosk at Union Station (before or after the trip), with cash/credit card at a Metrolink ticket machine, or with card using the Metrolink Mobile App.
  • Monthly pass holders ride free.
  • Travel times range from 30-50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
