Transit Equity Day is a national day of action to commemorate the birthday of Rosa Parks by declaring that public transit is a civil right. In 1955, Ms. Parks, an iconic civil rights leader, refused to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama in protest and to demand an end to segregation on transit systems.
Don't forget, Metrolink provides everyday discounted fares for students, active military, people living with disabilities, and seniors.
Take advantage of your free ride on Transit Equity Day! Discover diverse destinations accessible via Metrolink, offering convenient transportation and free or low-cost admission, aligning with our commitment to fostering access for all. Below are just a few of the many places you can go.
